Slakey Brothers has an immediate need for a Regional Sales Manager for HVAC Supplies and Plumbing to lead our Sales Team and growth of Customer relationships in our California Coast Region!Territory - Hayward, Salinas, San Jose, Sand City, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and South San FranciscoStarting salary range - $125,000-$165,000 based on experienceDuties & Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate clear strategies, programs, goals and expectations for Slakey's supplies and plumbing sales efforts.
• Perform a full range of management responsibilities including effectively delegating work to members of Regional Sales Team.
• Coach and mentor the Team Members to achieve regional sales and GP goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Slakey Brothers' customers, advocate for the customers and promptly report all customer service challenges or issues.
• Drive interaction between Region Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Pricing, Logistics, Credit and Marketing to promptly serve Slakey Brothers' customers and maximize sales.Education/Experience/Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the products Slakey Brothers sells
  • Comprehends Slakey Brothers' Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warehouse and Delivery Functions
  • 5+ years related management experience preferred
  • Prior outside sales experience preferred
  • Strong decision-making abilities - understands impact and implications of decisions
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
