Production Engineer. It investigates and resolves incidents, and
handles operational tasks enhancing system reliability, and making
on-call stress-free.Our founders ( and ) are the core creators of
OpenTelemetry and led Splunk Observability. They have 2 successful

EngineerResponsibilities
- Lead or own the design of large subsystems and drive the
implementations.
- Follow the best software development practices, and hold the
high engineering bar for the team by regularly leading design, code
review and test plan reviews.
- Incorporate excellence in reliability, scalability, and
performance in the design of distributed systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and
other operational duties to ensure service delivery quality.
- Participate in customer and design partner discussions, develop
a deep understanding of customer problems and incorporate those in
system design.Qualifications
- Backend Systems Expertise: Strong skills in building and
deploying robust backend and storage services, emphasizing
scalability and high performance in high-concurrency
environments.
- Cloud & Kubernetes Knowledge: Experienced with cloud platforms
(especially AWS) and Kubernetes, with a strong understanding of
databases and messaging systems for secure, scalable cloud-native
applications.
- Product and Customer Focus: Strong ability and desire to lead
the creation and implementation of customer-facing features from
start to finish, prioritizing users and owning customer
success.
- AI and LLM experience and curiosity: Eager to deepen expertise
in AI, with a keen interest and some experience in developing
applications powered by Large Language Models (LLM).
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant industry experience with a
bachelor's degree; or 2+ years and a master's degree.We are an
